Can I use a London virtual office address as my Companies House registered office?
Yes. You can use our EC1R Farringdon address as your company's registered office at Companies House, so your home address does not have to be the registered office on the public register. Post that arrives for your company is scanned and emailed to you.
Will UK banks accept a virtual office address for KYC and business account opening?
Banks set their own KYC rules, so check with your bank before you apply. Many business account providers accept a virtual office as your business or registered office address, and most will also ask for your home address as part of their identity checks.
How is a virtual office different from a PO Box?
A PO Box is a mail collection service. It cannot be used as your registered office, which must be a physical address, and it looks like a PO Box on your invoices. Our virtual office is a real EC1R London street address that you can use as your registered office and on your website, invoices and supplier accounts.
How quickly can I get my London virtual office address set up?
Once you have signed up and completed the ID and anti-money laundering checks, you can start using the address and update your registered office at Companies House.
How does mail scanning work?
Your letters are opened, scanned and emailed to you, so you can read the full document in your inbox and online dashboard. If you also want the physical letters sent on to you, the Mail Forwarding plan adds physical mail forwarding.
Will my virtual office address appear publicly anywhere?
Only where you put it. The address appears on Companies House (as your registered office, by law) and on whatever websites, invoices, marketplaces, or Google Business listings you choose to use it on.
Can I use the address as my HMRC correspondence address?
No. HMRC posts tax letters and time-limited authorisation codes to your correspondence address, so it needs to be an address you control, such as your home or your own business premises. You can use our address as your registered office at Companies House.
What happens if I want to cancel or switch providers?
All plans are rolling monthly with no long-term contract. If you leave, remember to update your registered office at Companies House and any other records that use the address.
Do I get a meeting room or just the address?
The virtual office is an address and mail service: the EC1R Farringdon address, mail handling, WhatsApp support and an online dashboard. Meeting rooms are not part of the plans. If you also want accounting, the Operate Bundle (£128 a month) includes a London business address with digital mail.
Can I use a London virtual office if I am based outside the UK?
Yes. ID and anti-money laundering checks are done online, and the address can be your UK company's registered office wherever you personally live.
How much does a London virtual office cost?
Mail Scanning is £30 per month: the EC1R address with your post scanned and emailed to you. Mail Forwarding is £38 per month: everything in Mail Scanning plus physical mail forwarding. Prices exclude VAT. GoForma accounting clients can add a London virtual office address as an add-on from £20 per month.
