Accountant (Junior to Mid)
Own a portfolio of UK limited companies and sole traders while you study toward ACCA or AAT — with senior accountants beside you, not above you.

You'll be a named accountant for a portfolio of contractors, freelancers and small limited companies — the kind of hands-on, end-to-end client work that builds a real career fast. We pay for and support your ACCA/AAT studies, and you'll learn directly from our senior team.
What you'll do
- Prepare and file year-end accounts, Corporation Tax (CT600) and Self Assessment returns
- Run bookkeeping reviews, VAT returns and payroll for your client portfolio in FreeAgent
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for your clients by phone, email and WhatsApp
- Keep clients ahead of deadlines with proactive reminders and clear, jargon-free answers
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience working with UK limited companies and sole traders
- Actively pursuing ACCA or AAT (part-qualified very welcome)
- Confident with cloud bookkeeping (FreeAgent, Xero or QuickBooks)
- Genuinely enjoy talking to clients and explaining things simply
- Right to work in the UK
Nice to have
- Experience in a contractor or high-volume practice
- Exposure to VAT schemes, IR35 or CIS
